Hello again, I originally said I was going to stop doing award based posts for a while, but I was nominated for two different ones that I have not done before and I do what I want. For this one I will not nominate people. But the next one I will. This one, as the title suggests, is the Real Neat Blog Award.
I was nominated by Jekojeko from his blog Unnecessary Exclamation mark
In case anyone was wondering what the rules where, here they are:
- Put the award logo in your Blog
- Answer 7 questions asked by the person who nominated you
- Thank the people who nominated you, linking their blogs
- Nominate any number of bloggers you like, linking their blogs
- Let them know you nominated them (by commenting on their blog)
- Ask the bloggers 7 new questions (Already Said I would not nominate people)
1) Who or what got you to start watching your first anime?
It was completely on accident. I am not counting Pokemon, Yugioh, or Digimon. Deltora Quest. I did not know it was an anime, this was back when I had a set idea of what anime was, and well once that got rid of that set idea, I wanted to see more series which opened me up to what anime really is.
2) What do you think is your most controversial opinion about anime/manga?
That my waifu is better than your waifu in any way imaginable. Your Waifu doesn’t love you.
Oh wait, this sounds one that is not in the community. To me, at least with my mom, and some family members when it comes to it, it feels like they get anime confused with hentai, and I have the same mentality for that as porn. Porn is not the same as television, so hentai cannot be the same as anime, just because they are live action stuff or in anime’s case animation from Japan, does not label it the same as something it is not.
3) What song do you wish could be an anime opening or ending?
I know some rock song was the ending theme for Jojo’s Bizarre World. I would not mind hearing something by Led Zepplin, since a character was inspired by the band as well as a few other characters, make it for another opening or ending theme for the series. Course I need to still finish the 2012 one before getting into Stardust.
4) Has a show ever impacted your beliefs or values in an important way?
On the top of my head, in recent months no not really. I think this was more common with other series a few years ago first getting into anime. I will admit there are some concepts in Fate Stay Night UBW that can have some impact. Although I joke the line “Just because you are correct does not mean you are right.” Does have a lot to say. Someone can be correct, yet they can still be wrong. For example if you had the choice between saving ten people or saving one person, that person being your child, either way you are correct, saving the majority, or saving your child. You are correct but it does not make what your decision is right.
5) What’s the most exciting thing you’ve been a part of?
Not sure. I mean when you thing about the most exciting thing, it would feel like it would be something you would remember for a long time, not say it is but forget it. So I cannot really say what it is since I do not know what it is.
6) Which show do you wish your life was more like?
A romance, I hate being always single. So, how about a more cheery one instead of something that will make me sound like I am lonely despite it being the truth. That is except I cannot think of one so a romance, possibly a shojo romance, actually I take that back since they can be too over exaggerated.
7) What’s your biggest goal in life, and how do you plan to achieve it?
I have brought this up on several times that I want to be a published author…..(will touch on more for the other award post which focuses on dreams….hint hint). This is something that will be really hard to do but I have been working on it for some time. Writing the story, which seems like the biggest part is really not the biggest part. There are so many more steps to it then that and day by day I work a little harder at that goal.
So, with those questions answered. As I said I will not nominate anyone so check out Jekojeko’s blog.
