Day 14: A manga you never really liked
This one is an odd one. To me if I don’t like it, why would I read it? So there is no real way for me to say there is one that I never really liked. However, I will add something to this. So, this day has changed.
Day 14: A Manga you never really liked that everyone else loves
Alright now, I still have nothing really for this one. Sort of. Personally I would love to respond with One Piece, Naruto, or Bleach. However, I have not read any of them, but I wish to read Naruto and One Piece at some point or another. Downside is that they are both really long and I will probably drop it because they are long, that is unless I were to own it.
So, for this one, the only thing that really could come to mind is Attack on Titan. I own the first 8 volumes. But in all honesty I am not that into it. I am probably not buying it any more, nor do I have a strong need to read more. In all honesty it is one of the three series I wish I did not buy. Downside is there are a lot of volumes. Personally I could sell them used. But at the same time, there is that slight thing in the back of my mind that does not want to give them up. It is odd, but true.
Is there any particular reason why you would drop a manga?
Day 13: The Most Epic Scene Ever
Day 15: The Saddest Scene (Spoiler Warning)
As always I hope you enjoy and would love to hear your thoughts about.

I’ve started Attack on Titan, but so far I’m not blown away. I’m still only in the beginning volumes though. But the artwork is a big strike. Surprised the editor didn’t recommend the author get an artist to draw the series.

The art I don’t mind so much. It helps gather the dark and grim mood for the series. It does take a little time to get used to. But some scenes make it look way too busy and not as clear as it should with the art style.
It is just rereading the series is not that great for me, so it makes me feel less obligated to continue reading.

I enjoyed the the anime, but couldn’t get into the manga due to the artwork. A bit shallow perhaps, but from I hear the story loses its charm as it progresses.

I never really got into the anime as much as most people. To me, and I brought this up in the review of volume one of the manga, but the story loses suspense if you read it after watching the anime or are rereading it. The art is unique, but it is certainly something that takes time to get used to or just not like. When it comes to the drawings of the Titans, the art style works, it just does not work for everything.
