So, I am sort of running out of things to say due to being self-aware of the fact that by the time this is up, episode 2 will be out the day before and the 4th episode review will be the following day. It is not like I can say much. But either way, like I had been saying the plot will be a bit lighter than usual. So without further ado, let’s get started.
The Plot:
Stuff happens.
Ok, so it continues from last week. Rokuro had a dream where he and Beino are a happy husband and wife. It was a nightmare to him, but soon Rokuro you and Beino will begin to accept your fate, just not today.
Then they go to school, where stuff happens, like the trope how the transfer student shows up and the main character is surprised.
Anyway time passes, boys think Benio is cute, no surprise. Mayura, who was last seen in the first ep seems worried about both Rokuro and Benio.
More stuff happens, Benio ditches school to do exorcists things. I am for once actually doing what I said and am covering it rather quickly. This will mostly be with screenshots that I took, so I don’t feel so bad.
Anyway Mayura stops Rokuro from leaving and going straight home. Where do they go? An amusement park. Throw in a few flashbacks while they are there, and mentioning of Mayura’s father who is bound to show up at some point and their time together continues.
Meanwhile best girl of the season, Benio continues her fight off a powerful monster.
There was some problems that affected the other side of the world causing Rokuro to save a few kids. Other than that this was mostly an original episode.
Overall Thoughts:
For starters although sometimes when I go not talk a lot about plot it means I was bored. This episode not a lot happened and that pretty much summed everything up. Because some of this anime will be original, I will not be surprised if it will be like this later. There were only hints at future story lines.
Overall though, the episode was alright. It is not the fact it is original, it just felt like not a lot was going on. The music was a nice touch in the background though. It was some of the rare cases where I could pick it up.
Not much to say for episode 3, it just seemed average compared to the first two. Hopefully this will not become a trend.
Overall Enjoyment: 70/100
I am super curious on people’s thoughts for this episode since this was all original. So please comment. I am not sure if I was just being bias because I read the manga or it was genially just the episode.
As always I hope you enjoyed.

This episode felt broken. Pun intended.
struggles to fix it took its time. and due to that fell bit out of place. or missed logic beside the possible future story lines.
Will have a look at the manga just to have a good comparison with ep 5 🙂

I have yet to see episode five, but from the preview it looks like they jumped beyond the time skip. So even that I am feeling mixed. Since if they do somehow decide to make a sequel, that arc will need to change.

Ep5 still to watch as well, but willing to read manga to make the comparison. Never watch Preview. But will return when done.
With out saying to much and the 3 chaps I read. I can see why the anime lacks that little logic.

I’m a bit afraid to view this series at the moment, seems like a mixed bag.

Yeah I am a little mixed right now. I mean on one hand they have not gone to the fights that made me like the characters. The downside is if they were to do those fights it would be the series as a whole. Since I doubt they would want to do the time skip. So not only do the have to make a majority of this original in order to cover the 17 chapters that about 14 are probably all 2 battles. So, I will be mixed till it gets to those fights.

Haven’t a clue on if I’ll watch it then. Sure, the title makes it sound awesome, but so far to me, it sounds like a let down. I was all into Akame Ga Kill until they killed almost everyone off, then I was like “Skip buying it,” 😛

Akame ga Kill is a little different, up till the final few episodes it was all in the manga.
Right now it is too soon to say for Twin Star Exorcists if the manga is better, it truly is insane with the fighting. But if you are curious and are leaning towards not sure, I would wait a bit more. I still plan on reviewing it all regardless.
