This show, like, honestly it took me an hour to watch, and then a break for a half an hour to write this. Not because it was bad, but because I was laughing too much. I did see the second episode dub, and I did enjoy that again. I will leave it at that for talking about it. If you wish to hear my thoughts on the dub episode, check the episode 4 review. Other than that let’s get started.
The Plot:
Well, Nozomi is up against the Rank 4 Elite Class Member, Kotone Fujisaki. What does Kotone do before the match. Well, listen to Boy’s Love. She is really, really into the sort of thing. Honestly I think this show had more Yaoi in just two scenes then most shows this season.
Anyway, it turns out that Kotone has a family reputation in Keijo. Her mom was a former Race Queen and her sister is a pro too.
But, before the race starts it is clear Aoba is suffering from her defeat last episode. Nozomi would like to comfort her, but she has to focus on her own race now.
With the UMZ off, she is more pumped for this. Although the Land is slippery, and well, it makes for a little embarrassing start.
Kotone’s butt seems to have a mind of its own. She does not even look at her opponents. Instead she fantasizes about BL with the clouds. She also takes down one of the members fairly quick.
But to Kotone Keijo is just work. So, she does not fully take it serious, despite Nozomi wanting to make Kotone take it seriously. But she also thinks this is because Kotono is more into BL than Keijo, which she denies.
Just as the other member in the race offers Nozomi to team up, she gets knocked out rather quickly making it a 1 v 1.
Nozomi needs to dodge the attacks, and well, this makes Kotono know she needs to focus a tiny bit more since she is fantasizing too much about BL.
They attack straight one, but Nozomi vibrates her butt fast enough to throw Kotono off, and not be able to land a full attack.
With how their battle of butts been going Kotono is fairly pumped and wants to put an end to this, thus attacking with all her might. She starts pushing Nozomi to her limits, leaving Nozomi no choice but to use the Vacuum Butt Cannon. It misses the first time and Kotono hit with her ultimate attack. Thus the two are near their limits. They both charge their final attacks and Kotono gets knocked out.
With Nozomi the winner, Kotono goes back to listening to her BL, only to maybe get some feelings for Nozomi, that might be me reading way to in-between the lines.
Anyway, the announcements for who got moved to the elite class would be announced later. In the meantime, it was time for Ujibe-sensei to deliver some punishment to Nozomi who not only used the Vacuum Butt Cannon once but twice against her wishes. What she really wanted to do was check on Nozomi and see how she held up since using the move. She then decides to help train Nozomi not only with the move, but to help prevent her from needing to use the move.
That late afternoon Aoba gets ready to leave believing she does not have what it takes. But it is revealed that all four of the girls in room 309 got promoted to the Elite Class. Ujibe-sensei reveals that Mio used her forbidden technique, Titty Hypnosis, which she was also told not to use, thus punished for it.
It is then revealed that the four girls were promoted since Ujibe-sensei believes that they may get stronger together and that they might be able to beat the East. Thus the episode ends.
Overall Thoughts:
This show I honestly do not know what to think of it any more. I keep trying to say it is a serious sports anime, when clearly it isn’t. More than anything it is a parody of sports. I know there are parody moments late, according to people I know who read the series. Certainly it is becoming clear this show is not about fan service.
This episode was all about the battle, and although there was not much strategy there. There were still plenty of humor to counter act this fact. I was honestly laughing so much I had to pause a few times for a few minutes before I could continue. Before I could write this review I stopped for a half hour, and then again for the night after writing the plot section.
This show is certainly ridiculous. But unlike other shows it has great balance between getting serious, getting ridiculous, and a few other things that make this show honestly a lot better than what I thought it would be. This episode really opened my mind to that fact.
Overall Enjoyment: 90/100
Overall Score: B

It is seriously an awesome show. There are quite a few people who disapprove of it, but in all honesty I find it quite entertaining. It’s not the sort of anime you watch for the story, so much, it’s just for the laughs and the silliness (о´∀`о)

Indeed, I will miss it, but it was easily the funniest that came out in the fall.

The fact that she’s a fujoshi made me laugh so hard and I have no idea why! It was just so brilliantly fitting for the show (^○^)

With how random this show was, it was fitting and honestly perfect. Especially even more so that no one knew this.
