Well, it has finally happened, although they have gone on adventures before, it has always been around that starting town. Now the group leaves to go to another city for once. What awaits them, well, spoilers since they don’t make it there this episode. Either way let’s get right into it.

The Plot:

Megumin is freaking out. This is mostly due to Kazuma and Aqua acting all weird. They have a sort of fake rich act going on. Megumin think Kazuma was still angry for what she did in the previous episode. Actually it was due to something else, after she left Kazuma was given a deal. Since he has that partnership in creating objects from his world, well, he was offered either a million a month or 3 million in one payment. So, needless to say either way he could live the high life now.

Anyway, since Kazuma does not want to go on any quests, and he is still injured from snapping his neck in the previous episode, Megumin thinks the should go to the city of water and hot springs known as Arcanretia. Which they all hop aboard on the idea.

Kazuma goes to tell Viner about this idea. Well, apparently he is not too happy about how Wiz handles her shop. So he tells Kazuma to take her with them for a few days while he fixes everything.

Thus they all get ready to go. After a battle of rock, paper, scissors they head on their way.

Ultimately they are attacked. And the beasts are attracted to them due to Darkness’ armor. They go to defend the group of caravans, but although they go to cover themselves, everyone mistakes this as bravery. Darkness nearly causes a major problem. Kazuma apologizes to everyone, and the episode ends as the beasts get closer and closer.

Overall Thoughts:

It certainly was an enjoyable episode. I did have a few laugh outload moments where I needed to pause the video. One being Darkness saying how she wants to see how much of a scumbag Kazuma can become with all the money coming his way. Then really last minute or so of just their screw up and Darkness’ perversions getting the better of her.

Although I had those moments, it was nice to see, or at least start to see more of the world Kazuma has been in for the last 17 episodes. We might have seen the area surrounding the starting town, but the gang is moving on and going to new places. By the looks of the volumes and what happens, it looks like now they hardly stay in that first town.

This world is twisted, and Kazuma said time and again the starting town is rather cruel for beginners, this only brings up the question of what other places could be like. Their journey only began this episode. I don’t even know if it will be completed next episode. Either way I am open and glad for the new direction they are going. More adventures can certainly open up, and with new possible characters to appear only means more humor in some way.

Overall Enjoyment: 85/100
