So, while this show comes out monthly, waiting for it, at least kills some of the wait for Heaven’s Feel, and when that will be out. I mean, it is out, but it isn’t out completely, and I just want to see it. Anyway, as this title sort of suggests, since it is her route, it is a Sakura episode.

The Plot:

So, a typical meal at the Emiya house hold ends with Tiaga rushing out the door. Shirou then notices that Sakura seems a little odd. He asks Medusa/Rider, but well, she says she is fine and Shirou doesn’t need to worry about it.

Later at school, Issei gives Shirou some bamboo shoots. While, Shirou thinks on what he could make with these throughout the day, well, he still has no idea.

When grocery shopping with Medusa, Sakura gains an idea on what to have for supper thanks to another one of her senpai. She tells Shirou about the gratin, and well, Shirou thinks to add the bamboo shoot to it.

Thus, the two cook.

Then they eat it.

Later that night, Sakura, now at home, left some food for her scummy brother, Shinji. He liked it.

Thus, Sakura is happy, and the episode ends. At least she is happy, too bad her scummy brother is as well.

Overall Thoughts:

I mean, not counting the cooking, since, let’s face it I need to find something else to talk about besides how good the food looks, and honestly, I do want to try that sandwich from the previous episode. But, as a whole, this episode was nice. Sakura finally was given some attention, and well, she had her focus. Can we see more of her, yes, but it is nice to see the dynamic of how Sakura feels to her scummy brother. While, he is still scummy, and certainly rarely shows signs to Sakura that he cares, and again, he is a scum bag, but, this slice of life show made him well, not be known as a scum bag, which is saying something.

But yeah, that food did look good.

Anyway, as a whole, this episode, like others, was just a nice break, and knows when to hit jokes right. I still wish the episodes were longer, just to give more time with the characters enjoying good food.

Overall Enjoyment: 90/100

Overall Score: B
