List of Weekly Reviews 2015-2016

Here is where (almost) all weekly review posts that where written between 2015 and 2016. There are few exceptions, ones that were reviewed over on Anime Corps or series longer than the standard season.

As time went on reviews received unique titles, the earlier ones did not get this treatment, so it may be harder to know what each episode may be about. This was only for the Spring and Summer of 2015 posts. Due to not reviewing anything in the Fall of 2015, once the Winter 2016 season began, reviews started to change.

Spring 2015

Yamada and the Seven Witches

What is it about:

This delinquent, Yamamda, well, he discovers he has a power to switch bodies with a kiss. Thus, magical hijinks arise as him and his friends find out there are others with bizarre supernatural powers.

Summer 2015

Actually I am (Jistu Wa Watashi Wa)

The manga is known as My Monster Secret.

What is it about:

Kuromine has a crush on Shiragami. One day he discovers that she is a vampire. Thus, he is tasked with keeping her secret, while still trying to find the courage to ask her out and dealing with other supernatural classmates hiding in plain sight.

Monster Musume

What is it about:

Kimihito unexpectedly got signed up to take part in a Interspecies Cultural Exchange. His home becomes a place for monsters. While at first, a liminal, named Miia comes to stay with him, it soon turns a house full of different monster girls and the dealings of their every day life.

Luck and Logic

KonoSuba Season 1

What is it about:

Kazuma is killed and soon finds himself in another world with a worthless goddess, a masochistic and useless knight, and a mage that can only use one spell. He is given the seemingly impossible task to beat the demon lord so that he may have the opportunity to return home.

Spring 2016

Twin Star Exorcists

Due to this series being 50 episodes long and covering multiple anime seasons, this series can be found on the Longer Series Episode Reviews page. However, this was the season when this series began.

Summer 2016

Taboo Tattoo

This series was reviewed over at Anime Corps, and like most series I reviewed over there, it was dropped. Only the first 5 episode reviews may be found there.

Mob Psycho 100

What is it about:

Mob is an extraordinary psychic. Of course he needs to suppress his emotion in order to maintain proper control of his powers. However, he continues to juggle his every day life, exorcisms, and well, anything and everything in between that could deal with his powers.

*The OVA Recap came out in March 2018.

Fall 2016

Occultic;Nine

This series was reviewed over at Anime Corps, and it is one of the few where all episodes are reviewed. There is no series review for it.

Keijo!!!!!!!!

What is about:

Sports, yes, sports. But seriously, it is a show about sports, that involves women against women trying to push each other off a platform into the water. They can only use their assets and no hands what so ever. Nozomi plans to become a pro in order to get rich quick.
