Well, as a side note with all the awards that have been nominated lately to me, and the fact that I still have one or two more after this one. It is safe to say that after these, I really should start turning them down for at least a few months, probably till September or October. But that is a discussion for another time and I also still have no more references to do for the titles since the first five where Die Hard references and I forgot what reference I made in the sixth one. Anyway I am not nominating anyone. But check out the person who nominated me blog.
So, now to really begin and to start of by saying thank you Ainoanime from Aino Anime for nominating me. They are relatively new to blogging, although only about a month later than when I started, but they have been coming out with more posts recently, which main focuses on reviews, so check that out if you are interested.
Liebster Award Nomination 6: I Have No More Die Hard References
Well, since I am out of Die Hard references I think I should get started. I was nominated by krisneo99 from the blog Life of a Singaporean Student. The typical rules, which I am now realizing I left out on half the posts, deal with some things. Anyway since I am just answering the questions and am not nominating anyone this time around, since joking aside and am actually being serious for once, I will probably be here again soon answering more questions. Enough about that since I gladly accept it and like answering the questions that the people took the time and made.
Without further ado, thank you krisneo99 for nominating me for this Liebster Award.
I was nominated by Masumi Amari from Morning Toast. So, thank you for nominating me, I mean it. So, let me see I am no out of Die Hard References after this one. Anyway I seem to be right about the fact that it only takes a week between these posts. Since I nominated people last time I will not nominate people this time. Maybe every other four, of course although that is a joke the scary thing is I might be right.
Before I begin I would just like to thank everyone. It has only been four months since starting this and this past month alone there was a lot of growth here. So, once more I want to say thank you to each and every one of you guys. I honestly did not think it was going to grow this much so quickly.
Anyway time to get to the eleven questions that I was asked. I would also like to thank Masumi once more for giving the most random questions I have been asked to date.
Here is Number 3. All the others are on my About Page.
Okay, well this is more five, since in 2 I answered 2 people’s questions at once. Anyway, unlike the last three this time I am nominating people. I was nominated again by Viewer Discretion is Advised, who originally nominated me. So, thank you again. Since the last one there are a lot more people I talk to, even though it has only been almost a month, but still. I want to nominate people. I also did a quick check to see if it somehow went full circle by clicking on who nominated who and it after a lot of clicking no, at least as far as I could tell unlike the last few that where.
So, Liebseter Award Nomination 4 Live Free or Nominate Hard (I am running out of Die Hard References with these things)
So, I was nominated again for the Liebster Award. Ironically enough both went full circle within five days and both came out within hours of each other. I nominated one person, who nominated two people, who nominated them, who nominated me. I think it is a little funny how fast that happened. So, I did say the least I can do is answer questions since if I were to nominate people, more than likely I would be back here next week answering more questions. So, without farther ado, thank you Braverade from Rabujoi and Mariagiakoumatos95 at Maria Rants About Stuff for nominating me again. Since Braverade nominated me first I will answer those questions first.
Questions from Braverade from Rabujoi
What was the first anime you ever watched?
Not counting Pokemon, it would be Deltora Quest. More than likely the most random answer you get for a series not a lot of people probably heard of, but it is an anime nevertheless.
Did that first anime get you into anime, or did that require watching more shows?
I was unsure if that series really was an anime, so I checked out a few more. Code Geass and especially Fairy Tail was what really got me into anime.
What is your favorite food?
Anything that has chocolate or sweets of some kind. I have a massive sweet tooth. Baked goods too.
Who is your favorite character designer?
I never really gave this any thought. It is something I do not really pay attention to that much.
If so inclined, what character would you have the least trouble cosplaying?
I think I would have the least trouble cosplaying as Koyomi Araragi from Bakemonogatari, since I have long black hair. Granted I would need to remove my glasses, but other than that would be it.
What is one sin an anime could commit that would make you turn your back on it?
This one is really difficult sort of. I view this as a reason to drop an anime, which most cases tend to be forgetting to watch it, or I just got bored of it because it was not interesting. I do however have to say shows that have the final episode dedicated to basically stating “we are asking for a second season so we are going to build up as if it is a second season.” And then they never get a second season. That I think is the biggest sin an anime could make. It is fine if it is small, not when it takes up a whole episode setting up season 2.
Who are your top 5 (or 10) characters, regardless of gender?
Saber (Fate Stay Night)
Tohka (Date A Live)
Akame (Akame ga Kill)
Tatsumi (Akame ga Kill)
Shido (Date A Live)
Natsu (Fairy Tail)
I cannot really think beyond that right now.
Assuming they’d do a good job (not at all a certainty), which anime would you most like to see made into a Hollywood film?
Cowboy Bebop, with the exception that we know it would be good. This is something that seems like it would work excellent in live action. I know there has been talks, but anything would be better then another anime movie like Dragon Ball Evolution, the one we wish we could forget.
Which anime character do you identify most with, if any?
Gin from Gintama or again Koyomi Araragi from Bakemonogatari, I can be witty when I want to, make insane references, as well as a few other things.
What is your favorite beverage—alcoholic or otherwise?
Although I just turned 22 like four days ago, I have yet to drink any alcohol, I refuse to it is a personal choice. But soda is DR. Pepper.
Which anime do you wish got a sequel, that never did (or hasn’t yet)?
I am going with A Certain Magical Index Season 3, but sequel wise D-Frag, the manga is always funny and they did a good job on the adaptation.
Questions from Mariagiakoumatos95 at Maria Rants About Stuff
1) What inspired you to create a blog?
I am not really sure. Although I’ll go with my response in the first time doing these questions, and that is that I like to write. I write a lot. Since this hobby is a secret and I live at home, it is not like talking into a camera and posting videos is a good idea. More than anything I just wanted to have fun and talk about anime, which I cannot do in my life with anyone.
2) What was your first anime?
Deltora quest as I said. But I will add my second anime, which I consider more as an anime, Oh My Goddess.
3) If you could cosplay any anime character (assume crafting skill and money are not an issue), who would you choose?
If crafting skills does not matter, would being Ingeel from Fairy Tail work, life size by the way. In all seriousness Sinbad with dijin equip from Magi.
4) Aside from reviewing anime, what are some of your hobbies?
Writing, a lot. I have two weekly series on Deviantart (Although one goes on hiatuses more than it actually comes out). On Wattpad I have a series, which is a more finalized, heavily edited, and expanded upon version then the one on Deviantart, this is also a series I wish to publish someday. It is Hero Team in Training, basically a story about superheroes dealing with trying to work as a team since there has yet to be a team of heroes that has been able to work together successfully. Most of my stories deal with super powers, or magic, or some sort of fantasy. I am also really looking for some feedback. Other than that, I am working on my main series that I wish to publish that I has been working on since middle school. I am working on the third draft which I feel confident enough to submit for publishing afterwards. Other than that, reading comics, specifically Spiderman or manga. I would put watching anime on the list, but that is probably a given.
5) If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Japan, that one is obvious. Other than that Italy or England since that is where my family was from a long time ago, and I always wanted to go.
6) Which was the saddest anime you’ve ever watched?
If I were to go off of series I cried the most watching, (since I am a guy who is not afraid to mention when he gets emotional) Fairy Tail and Date A Live. But saddest, I would not conceder Golden Time sad even though it put my on an emotional rollercoaster. So I am not really sure, none really pop into my head.
7) The funniest anime?
I would have to say either D-Frag or Seitokai Yakuindomo. I know I can go in laughing and come out laughing before the episode even begins. Same for Gintama.
8) If you could star in any anime, which would you choose?
I am assuming voice in an anime, I can change my voice fairly easily, so I think I could pull of the straight man character for a comedy anime, If not then just the character that is well relaxed. For whatever reason Baka and Test is on my mind, but I think I could go with something else. I am not really sure.
9) If you could take any anime character out on a date, who would you pick?
Saber, I talked about my unhealthy love for Saber on day 7 of the 30 Day anime Challenge.
10) If you could have any career in the world, what would you want to do?
Be a published writer or working for Marvel as a story writer for comics. Or really anything that could make me involved with helping people in some way or another.
11) What is a goal you wish to accomplish this year?
To be able to submit my novel for publication, even if I get rejected I do not care, as long as I submit it a few times to try to get it published.
So, that were all the questions I was asked. Again I would like to thank Braverade from Rabujoi and Mariagiakoumatos95 at Maria Rants About Stuff for nominating me. This was a lot of fun the second time around. Hopefully the next time I am asked to do this it will not be for a few more months, if not I will still gladly answer the questions. (Something tells me I will get asked again next week, not sure why though)
This came as a little surprise for me, since I did not know what it was. The Liebster Award is obviously an award; however it is given to bloggers by other bloggers. I was nominated by dandylion13, whose blog is known as Viewer Discretion is Advised. I was a little surprised with this since I saw the post before I was contacted by him. I even had to double check to know if that blog he nominated was really me. Anyway, I just want to say thank you for nominating me for this.
Now, there are several conditions for the Liebster Award, the first being answering some questions.
Here are the 11 questions asked to me.
1) Why did you start you blog?
I am not really sure. I remember back in October 2014 I was thinking of starting to do anime reviews. I knew I could not record anything. At the same time it felt like writing them was the best choice, I am majoring in Professional Writing. Also it was not till November where my journalism class started talking about reviews, and I decided to write the Date a Live review, even though it went up on here a month later. I think that was when I really decided to do it. My original plan was to wait to take the class on writing for the web, well I might be able to take that in the fall, and clearly I did not wait to take that class to start here.
2) If you could go anywhere in the world where would it be?
I would have to say one of three places, Italy, England or Japan. I doubt I need to say why for Japan. England and Italy is mostly because I have heritage there and those where places I have always wanted to go since I was little.
3) Who is your role model?
Going for the cheesy answer and saying my parents.
4) What is your favorite television show?
Show that ended would be Psych. Currently airing either Agents of Shield or Walking Dead. Anime would be Fairy Tail.
5) What is your favorite video game?
Pokemon, not going to say more than that, other than the fact I played it since I was six and I still play it when the new games come out.
6) Who is your favorite character from fiction?
From comics I would have to say Spiderman, and from anime, that one would be a difficult answer.
7) What is one thing you would love to do that may seem impossible?
Being able to buy the Monogatari series, even though it costs several hundred dollars just for the first 12 episodes.
Being serious though, being able to learn another language to the point where I do not need to look up the word to know I am right.
8) What is your favorite sport?
Does watching the Super Bowl when the Pats play count as liking a sport? I do not follow sports or really care that much about sports. I mean sure, I will care if the Red Sox are in the World Series, but that is about it, since I am not really a baseball fan.
9) What is your favorite activity to do?
Writing stories, *cough* check out my deviantart or wattpad version of Hero Team in Training *cough*. The stories I write tend to fall into the superhero genre, which falls under fantasy, which I write a lot of stories in as well that are considered just fantasy.
10) What is one thing you hope to accomplish in life?
Generic answer: Getting married and having kids, and hopefully getting my book published.
Serious yet still used for comedic effect answer: Not dying alone.
11) Why do you have to be so rude?
11 Random Facts about myself
My parents do not know I am into anime, and no one in my family but my younger brother does. He often teases me about it since he does not really get anime, at the same time he does not really care and is just doing that as something to tease me about, especially in front of my parents.
I write a lot, and I mean a lot.
I am a Junior in College.
I have a big manga collection that is somehow hidden in my room. (Soon to be over 40 volumes worth of manga)
I am often very shy in person, until I warm up to people.
I unintentionally bring up the fact I am into anime to everyone, if the case presents itself.
There are times when I question why I am watching anime, but this is when I am watching anime, so it quickly fades and I continue watching it.
Being a little random and trying to be funny is sometimes hit and miss for me.
I have only been into anime for 3 years.
I am the oldest sibling in my family.
I live in Massachusetts.
Here are my questions for my nominees?
How did you get into anime?
What made you want to do an anime blog?
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
What is the first thing that pops into your mind after reading this question?

Thank the person who nominated you, and post a link to their blog on your blog.
Display the award on your blog — by including it in your post and/or displaying it using a “widget” or a “gadget”. (Note that the best way to do this is to save the image to your own computer and then upload it to your blog post.)
Answer 11 questions about yourself, which will be provided to you by the person who nominated you.
Provide 11 random facts about yourself.
Nominate 5 – 11 blogs that you feel deserve the award, who have a less than 1000 followers. (Note that you can always ask the blog owner this since not all blogs display a widget that lets the readers know this information!)
Create a new list of questions for the blogger to answer.
List these rules in your post (You can copy and paste from here.) Once you have written and published it, you then have to:
Inform the people/blogs that you nominated that they have been nominated for the Liebster award and provide a link for them to your post so that they can learn about it (they might not have ever heard of it!).
Okay, now that is out of the way, I have five nominations.
Again, I just want to say thanks to dandylion13 at Viewer Discretion is Advised. Also thank you to my readers. I also want to thank my nominees, since a majority of them gave me ideas for things to either try on my blog or have an idea for a future topic to talk about or just ideas of an anime series to watch as well. This was fun and I hope that you guys have fun too, be it reading this or doing this yourself.
I was later asked more questions, which can be found here and here.
