Continue reading “12 Days of Anime “Best of 2018” Day 9: Summer Season Series”
So, yeah, wow, this season is already half way over. Of course it is a bit more than the half way point. Much like last season where I talked about the shows I was watching and what not. I will do the same thing again. First going over what I did for my first Impressions then what ever else I am watching. I will be using the English names out of convenience. So heads up on that. As for the shows, even though I will say this, I am curious on your thoughts for all the ones I talk about, and even ones that I have not mentioned since some might be worth going to watch at a later date.
Yay I really made it to episode three for both shows for reviews. Again I think this has something to do with liking both series and there my two most look forward to shows this season, I only wish they were separated by at least a day. Anyway not much to say, although unlike last week were two chapters were obviously separated. This one the chapters blend a bit more so I will not split it into first and second half. So without further ado time to get started. As always with my weekly reviews they contain spoilers for the episode.
Well, yay I am still juggling rather well doing two different series to review weekly. I am kind of glad. I think it is because I enjoy both of them so much where Yamada I did not. Anyway there is not much for me to say other than the fact I will probably have to go back to read a small section on the manga in order to remember the exact events, since at least to me it changed sort of. Anyway without further ado let’s get started. As always my weekly reviews do have spoilers so you have been warned.
Well the series is known as Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, I will also add I am going over a few series and my brief thoughts at the end with the main focus towards this one.

Well, remember when I did the last one and I said I would be working at the factory with my dad over the summer and how I get exhausted and it can be a little hard for me to work on my stories and what not. Well, apparently the factory my dad works at is not accepting people to work this summer, which means I cannot work there this summer. Although at the same time I know my dad is looking for a new job so since a whole lot of problems and this might be my parents way of telling me that they really don’t want me to work there and are telling me I need to work somewhere else. But anyway back to what this means for this place.
I would like to begin with the fact I have done over 100 posts here. I would have liked to do something special for the 100th post, but well this is the 101st so I do not think that is happening, maybe for the 150th or 200th. I would also like to thank everyone as well since I had a lot of fun doing all those posts and plan to do more hopefully a lot more.
Anyway before I ramble on with that I think I should note normally I write posts in a word document then post them here, this is not the case. Since I wanted to get this out quicker.
Alright well I have two weeks left of school. I am also going to start uploading posts, starting with this one at 5 pm eastern standard time. Now for the people who read my posts as soon as they come out, that is noon est so hopefully you can figure out when it will be now coming out. This might be good or bad for you, sorry I have no choice this will be explained in a bit.
The reason for this is due to the fact that I more than likely will be working in the factory with my dad over the summer, since I still have yet to find a job. I also want to note that there will be a few changes, not just with the time. Posts might be down to two times a week, maybe one worst case scenario.
Why this needs to happen is simply looking at what has happened in the previous two summers working in the factory. I know I have the link to my deviantart where I post stories and joke about the fact that it is an art site so I am posting stories here. Over the summer since, I mostly post weekly even though I am stopping with deviantart all together soon since no one ever comments or says anything about my stories, I really struggle to work on those stories. I also really struggle to work on my book as well. I am lucky to work on it. I get home and only have about 5 hours till I go to bed and have to wake up at 4 in the morning. I am exhausted to the point where writing is difficult even on the weekends.
Last summer I was struggling to get chapters out every other week. So, you can see my problem. I will note unlike stories which chapters can take several hours to write since I have to think a lot more and plan a lot more. Posts here I can be done writing within an hour since there is a lot less planing involved compared to story writing. Uploading can be done at a different time and can take anywhere between thirty minutes to an hour. The Top Five posts, those are mostly done about an hour before I upload them, just to give the idea how long those take. Reviews take a little longer. As for weekly reviews those are the longest, watching the show can take almost 40 minutes between screen caps and other things.
Now for the time change reason, I get home clean up, and I will be getting on a little before the scheduled time for when it will go up. So if anyone comment or I need to change something or think I do, I can do it and get a quick response. Unfortunately if anyone comments after I go to bed, well I will not be able to respond until the following day around the same time the previous day’s post went up. So there is that.
Now since weekly reviews take the longest, I may not do any for the summer season even though I would like to do two, Monster Musume, and Jitsu wa Watashi wa. I might just do one. Normal reviews will be moved to Sunday, although that will be at noon since I will be home. So I think that covers everything.
So, with that said, besides the time change for when I am uploading. Posts might be limited during the summer. I will not know how everything will be in terms of writing. As I said writing blog posts are a lot shorter than stories, so other than the time difference there will not be a change. Plus I may have more motivation since people actually comment and say things unlike deviantart, so I know people actually read my stuff, so I will try more then I have done. I will not know until the June to August Update, (I did not want this huge ramble to get in the way of talking about what I would be doing for the following months like I tend to do in updates) by then I might have started working for a little over a week. If there are any changes I will be doing a post at some point to notify everyone.
Normally I would be putting my typical ending of follow if you enjoyed and blah blah blah, but not this time. This will replace the home page for the following week so people can see it so, yeah after that this written part will be deleted.
This is more of a way for me to ask you, the readers, if you have a job and upload often like I do be it two or more times a week, could you tell me how you manage your blog and work full time that would be really appreciated?
