For a short monthly episode series, it is nice to see them trying to do new things, as well as continue with trends that were done months before. With that said, let’s get right into it.

The Plot:

Archer is asked by Rin to meet her at the park. Once there he hears his younger self, Shirou, being asked by Lancer for a bit of help. And he doesn’t help. But, since his younger self got away, this leaves Cu with asking Archer for help. He needs a chef, and well, it is apparent that no one but a few of them know the truth that Archer and Shirou is one in the same, seeing that Cu asked him to be a chef.

Of course, Archer was tricked, due to his competitive side, since Cu did say his younger self was probably a better cook.

While being in the stand in chef, Medea shows up on a date. A few others too. But, most important, Artoria shows up.

So, Archer makes a meal for her. And well, she really likes it. It as if he was cooking for her all this time.

Anyway, this episode ends with Archer being confronted by Rin how he missed their planned meeting time. Artoria tells Shirou that what Archer made for her was really good, so Shirou is more fired up to cook a wonderful meal. Clearly he always was competitive.

Overall Thoughts:

One thing I really enjoyed from this episode was the ending. Back a few episodes ago, the July summer one if I remember correctly. Archer’s face was hidden despite them playing volleyball together. At most his mouth was shown. It was like that this time with Shirou, his mouth was shown, while Archer took the spotlight. It was a nice touch to put focus on a single Emiya, rather than having both faces clearly be shown.

While everything else was fairly standard, it was nice to see that turn of events with the focus being on someone else for once. It makes sense too, since it is the same person. It was bound to happen sooner than later, and I really wish something like this happened a lot sooner like a lot of things in this series. But what is done is done. Next time might be the final episode, I honestly do not know.

Overall Score: B

As always I hope you enjoyed.
